About me
I was five years old when I held my first model airplane. I had traded it for my model train — a simple swap that changed everything. It was nothing more than a lightweight piece of balsa wood, yet it opened up an entirely new world for me. From that moment on, I knew one thing for certain: flying would be a lifelong companion.
What began as childhood fascination quickly grew into a true passion.
As soon as I was old enough, I spent every free moment on a nearby field
or at the local model airfield, where a neighbor occasionally took me along.
I watched every move he made, asked endless questions,
and dreamed of mastering larger and more complex models one day.
It didn’t take long before I built my first aircraft. Working with glue and wood - and later with electronics - became something I genuinely loved. I developed a sense for thermals, for technology, for engines. Crash landings or failed designs never discouraged me,
they simply pushed me to try again and do better.
With every project, I learned more about aerodynamics, materials, and propulsion.
Today, many decades later, model flying is far more than a hobby to me.
It is part of my life story - part of my identity. Model flying demands passion, precision, and craftsmanship, but also a reliable visual reference to keep an aircraft safe and under control.
That’s how the idea for ASC-Safety Light was born - a product that provides an extra level of safety for all pilots. As our eyesight naturally changes with age - something we model pilots notice as well - ASC-Safety Light helps maintain clear visibility and orientation, providing extra safety and confidence during every flight
Whether I’m building in the workshop, sharing ideas with fellow enthusiasts,
or launching a new model at the field - the hobby remains a blend of freedom, creativity, and the fulfillment of a dream that has never lost its fascination.
